About Us
Who Are We?
East Brentwood Presbyterian Church is located at the corner of Wilson Pike and Concord Road in Brentwood, Tennessee of Metropolitan Nashville, just 20 minutes south of downtown Music City.
Here you will find a church campus with a welcoming congregation, a nurturing preschool, and a supportive faith-based counseling center. Our mission is to connect people to God and each other and equip them for compassionate service to others.
The Church supports and practices equality for all individuals without regard to race, color, national origin, religion, gender/sexual orientation, age, disability, genetic information, pregnancy, or any other characteristic protected by law and the requirements for employment and for membership in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). We operationalize this in our employment policies and in our open, welcoming approach to Church membership and recruitment and admission of students to East Brentwood Children’s Academy.
Our Vision Statement
East Brentwood Presbyterian Church will strive to be a campus of connection with an open seat for all to gather, worship, and respond to Christ’s urgent call to address the hunger of God’s people with action, love, justice, and mercy.

Our Story
In the mid-1980’s the Middle Tennessee Presbytery, using population projections, set out to establish a new church in one of the fastest growing corridors-Brentwood, Tennessee east of I-65.
The first few families began meeting in homes and eventually moved in to the YMCA on Concord Road. Then in 1988 they had their first worship service, and in the summer of 1989 the expanding group signed a charter which officially organized East Brentwood Presbyterian Church.
By 1992 they were breaking ground at the current location and soon afterwards were regularly worshiping, studying and gathering at the corner of Concord Road and Wilson Pike. The 10-acre parcel contains the church and the original homeowners’ residence (which now contains the Pastoral Center for Healing and The Christian Legacy Foundation), as well as an historic barn. The barn was used in the early part of the 1800’s as a wagon repair shop and is currently a meeting place for the Boy Scouts and a gathering place for special EBPC events.
