Empowering Action Through Community Partner Collaborations

BTS collaborates with community organizations that are actively striving to end the stigma and spotlights available resources to those who are seeking support.
EBPC is proud of its nine-year-long partnership with the TN Dept. of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services-Faith Based Initiatives and encourages other congregations to seek certification as a Recovery Congregation.
Certified Recovery Congregations meet six criteria:
  • Provide Spiritual/Pastoral Support
  • View addiction as a treatable disease, not a moral issue
  • Embrace and support people in recovery and walk with them on their journey
  • Provide a visible outreach in the community
  • Share recovery information
  • Host recovery support groups
Partnership with the Williamson Prevention Coalition
Logo in Community Partners Folder
For the past three years, EBPC has partnered with the Williamson Prevention Coalition to promote community awareness, including participation in their public awareness campaign, “You Are Not Alone.”  This is a collection of video messages from a cross-section of professionals, celebrities and ordinary citizens who have one special thing in common, their desire to start needed conversations around substance misuse and mental health issues and encourage those who are struggling to seek the resources needed.
