Do you need help building, rebuilding, growing, or engaging your congregation?

Do you think data and metrics with a pastoral focus would assist you in your work?

Then come to a Presbytery-wide meeting to hear from Adam Buzard from Operation Andrew Group.

Operation Andrew Group’s Mission:

We seek to unite the Body of Christ as we partner with the local church to love God and our neighbors.

Join us for a 2 hour conversation about “The State of Nashville”, a demographically representative study of the Greater Nashville area, including Davidson county AND parts of all of the surrounding counties and communities, representing both rural and urban areas of Middle Tennessee, that provides feedback to the Church on the following questions:

  • What is the role of the Church in our community?

  • What do our neighbors think about how the Church is showing up (or not showing up)?

  • What do those within the Church think about giving, volunteering, worship and more?

  • How do our neighbors want to see the Church engage?

The survey, and the resulting data, include rural zip codes as well as those in Davidson County. The data investigates the lives of all Middle Tennesseans and reveals opportunities for churches of all sizes and types of communities.

Key takeaways from the study data:

  • Helps move the conversation beyond just being interesting, into the actionable

  • Pastors, church staff, elders and lay leaders will come away with a deeper understanding of their church’s incarnational context, and with one area of engagement to focus on, such as how to love your neighbors beyond your walls or how to love your congregants, each in a more connected way

  • Engage with the data to assess the following:

  • Identifying and flourishing within today’s societal shifts

  • Assessing your church’s worldview

  • Spirituality

  • Beliefs – in form and practice

  • Community engagement

  • Church preferences

  • Unchurched barriers

Churches participating in this 2 hour session are eligible for funding support from The Committee on Church Transformation for additional consultation time with Adam Buzard.
